At Symphony Midway, a holistic plan of care is designed for the treatment and management of complex wound care including nutrition intervention, electronic stimulation, ultrasound, pulse lavage, MIST therapy, and debridement. Our staff is trained to anticipate and care for the needs of our wound patients.

A nurse coordinator, assigned to each patient, works closely with family and physician to monitor progress and serve as a resource to address concerns. They collaborate with the discharge physician’s hospital to ensure appropriate follow up care is coordinated upon discharge from Symphony Midway.

Our professional recreational therapy team – as well as all other staff of Symphony Midway – understands the different functional levels of the resident through the dementia disease process and continually adapts activities to encourage a safe, home-like environment.

Homeward Bound is Symphony Midway’s state-of-the-art rehabilitation program. It is a comprehensive short-term physical rehabilitation program designed to return residents to their optimal functional level.

Our team of highly trained physical, occupational, and speech therapists work with our nurses and your doctor to create a personalized plan that addresses your needs, monitors your progress, and gives you the support you need for a speedy recovery.

The resident’s care plan focuses on the individual, their goals, and outcomes through the use of nautilus equipment, strength training and pain management. Our therapy team works closely with an expert physician specializing in physical medicine.
